Virtual academic communities are currently a primary means of informal academic exchange and an essential part of academic communication. This paper systematically analyzes the relevant literature on users' knowledge behaviors in domestic virtual academic communities, aiming to provide scholars with a comprehensive understanding of the current state of research in this area, thus laying the groundwork for further study. First, the basic concepts of user knowledge behavior in virtual academic communities are defined. Next, through content analysis, the paper reviews research on user knowledge behaviors in domestic virtual academic communities from five key perspectives: user research collaboration behavior, user knowledge sharing behavior, user knowledge contribution behavior, user knowledge interaction behavior, and user knowledge hiding behavior. Finally, the paper critically assesses the current state of research on user knowledge behavior in virtual academic communities in China, identifying several key issues: research topics exhibit a "clustering" phenomenon, research subjects show a "polarized" trend, research methods are "monolithic," and more attention is needed on the study of user knowledge contribution behavior.
